The MDC Figure 8 is the newest installment to the MDC line up. Coming in at just under 9 inches, this glide bait is lightest in it’s class at just 2.5 oz.! The name Figure 8 refers to the hour glass front view that was achieved when all unnecessary parts of the design were stripped away leaving a large profiled bait without needing the overly heavy gear that’s often overpowered for most bass fishing, especially here in the Northeast. One of my favorite features is the subtle splashdown when casting that can sound unappealing when placing a bait close to cover. Consider this bait to be BIG finesse rather than the “bait finesse” that’s become popular.
- Baits are tuned super slow sink at 77 degrees with size one st-36 hooks, sink rates can be increased with heavier wire hooks and tungsten putty in the weight chamber.
- All MDC baits are pressure casted resin made from handmade masters and molds without the use of any CAD at any point of the process, the commitment to excellence is real and the results speak for themselves.
